White Water Rafting weekend

We will start the gathering on Friday evening with a bon fire and drinks!
WHEN: August 19, 2022
WHERE: Adventures Unlimited and The Bus Bar and Grill
WHAT: Whitewater Rafting, Live Music from Caribbean Steel with Jeff Pike and Nico G.
WHY: The Parrot Head Club has been rocking for a good cause for over 30 years. We are taking over AU and The Bus and getting ready to have a splashy good time on the Ocoee River. ORJ is planning for their 10th year of success and ORJ has donated over 30k to local youth programs in the beautiful Polk County and surrounding areas.

Trip Options: Full River Deluxe Adventure – 10 miles of guided whitewater, to include the 1996 Olympic Section and a hot catered meal on the rivers edge. Trip leaves Adventures Unlimited at 9:30 AM on Saturday August 20, 2022. Please make note we ask each rafter to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to trip time. Trip time 9:30- 3:30.
Classic Middle Ocoee Adventure- a 5 mile guided trip on the best whitewater in the east. Continuous whitewater and big splashes at every turn in the river. Trip times for Parrot Head Club is 10:00 -1:30 PM or 1:30PM – 4PM.
After the river stick around and get ready for a good time at the Bus Bar. Live music by Caribbean Steel, Food may be purchased on site, the bus bar is a full bar, and we will have a 50/50 raffle so bring your cash.

Each person must call or make on-line reservations for the rafting trip and/or camping site, bungalows are all sold out.However there is a great hotel just down the street at
Rodeway Inn this is only 1/2 mile from the party.

If you don't want to go rafting there are many things to do around town and come join us for an evening of music, dancing and fun.
This is open to everyone even if you are not a registered club member so please share and bring your friends and family for an amazing good weekend.
